Why Site Matrix?
We’re not a drone operator that also does some inspections. Site Matrix is an engineering-led inspection practice — the Above/Within/Beneath method exists because a camera, a thermal sensor, or an ultrasonic probe are just tools; the value is in an engineer knowing which one answers your actual question, and being accountable for the answer.
The Engineer Behind Every Project
Site Matrix was founded by Nabil Abdulbaki, a a Registered Professional Engineer (Engineers Australia) with over 22 years in building services engineering — including leading and managing multidisciplinary engineering consulting teams across projects valued at $500 million and above.
That background shapes how Site Matrix operates: every inspection and project follows a diagnostic discipline built from more than 500 system faults, anomalies and defects identified and resolved across HVAC, electrical and building services over two decades.
Thermal images, aerial inspections or non- destructive testing are only a starting points. It’s the engineering experience that turns raw data into a correctly interpreted, properly prioritised, actionable finding.
